Book your surgical consultation in London

Working with Health Insurance

Mr Aly works with Bupa, AXA Health, Healix, Vitality, Aviva, WPA and Cigna. To book using your health insurance, please contact your insurer first to obtain a pre-authorisation or referral number. You will then need a referral letter from your GP or another specialist. When you contact our team, please have your insurance membership number and authorisation reference ready. Our administrative team will then liaise with your insurer directly to confirm cover.

GP Referrals

If you have been referred by your GP, please ensure your referral letter is sent to our team prior to your appointment. We will do our best to arrange any required scans or investigations on the same day as your consultation wherever possible.

Self-Referral

You do not need a GP referral to see me privately. If you would like to arrange a consultation yourself, please contact my PA at aly.admin@lips.org.uk or call +44 (0) 207 164 6114.

If you plan to use health insurance, your insurer will usually still require pre-authorisation and a referral letter from your GP or another specialist.

Self-Pay

We warmly welcome self-paying patients. Transparent pricing is important to us.

Consultation fees: a new patient appointment is £250 and a follow-up appointment is £150. The fee is the same whether you are seen in person or virtually.

Consultation fees do not include investigations, the procedure itself, theatre fees or an anaesthetist. Our team will provide you with a full quote — covering the consultation, any investigations, the procedure, theatre fees, and follow-up appointments — before you make any commitment. Consultations

I see patients at two locations:

• The Clementine Churchill Hospital, Harrow — North West London
• London International Patient Services (LIPS), Battersea Power Station — Central London

Clinics run on Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays across these locations.

Surgery

I operate at The Clementine Churchill Hospital in Harrow and at Bishops Wood Hospital in Northwood. Both are part of Circle Health Group.

On the NHS

I am a consultant at The Hillingdon Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, where I lead the development of Upper GI Surgery. Hiatus hernia and acid reflux surgery have been available there on the NHS since 2024.
